Image Upscaler

The Image Upscaler is the last stop before print. Pick a target size — 4, 8, 16 or 32 megapixels — and the image is enlarged with detail reconstructed rather than smeared, so a render made for the screen becomes a poster, a wallpaper for a 5K display or a file a print shop will accept without complaint. Print shops, poster sellers, wallpaper enthusiasts, designers preparing client files and anyone framing a render use it as the final step before export. The result keeps the aspect ratio of the source, so a 3:2 render comes back as a larger 3:2 file.

Credits scale with the target: 3 for 4 MP, 5 for 8 MP, 10 for 16 MP and 20 for 32 MP. As a guide, 8 MP covers A4 and 4K wallpapers, 16 MP covers A3 and 12-inch album sleeves, and 32 MP covers A2 posters and large canvas prints at a comfortable resolution. Upscaling works from the full-resolution original, so it makes sense to render at Pro or Max first when the destination is large. The target size, not the tool that made the image, decides the cost, so a Standard render can be upscaled for print for a few credits once you know it is the one you want.

Every tool's output can be upscaled from the Next row, and uploads work too — old photos, small logos, screenshots. For pixel art that must keep hard edges, use nearest-neighbour scaling in your own editor instead; for everything else, this is the tool. Downloads keep the source format, including transparency for PNGs. Upscaled files are saved to your library alongside the original, so the screen-size version and the print-size version stay together for whichever destination comes next. For a series headed to the same print size, upscale each piece to the same megapixel target so they arrive at the shop as a matched set.
