Flash bouncing off a lens, a bright window mirrored across both eyes, a lamp turning one lens into a white oval: glare is the most common way a picture of someone in glasses goes wrong. Glasses Glare Fix removes those reflections and hotspots so the eyes are visible again, and it does so with the glasses still on. The frames, the fit on the nose, the face behind them and everything else in the frame are left as they were. It is the fix for a headshot taken under office lights, a video-call screenshot, a passport picture that was rejected for reflections, a graduation portrait or any family picture where the glasses-wearer disappeared behind two bright spots.
There is nothing to configure. The tool identifies the lenses, works out what the reflection is hiding and reconstructs the eyes, brows and skin behind the glass using the visible parts of the face and the lighting of the picture. Lens tint, frame color and the shape of the glasses are preserved, and glare on other surfaces such as a watch or a window is left alone. Once the result appears on the canvas, press Compare to flip between the uploaded and made versions and look closely at both lenses, checking that the eyes match each other in color and direction. Should a little reflection remain, a second run or a short worded edit finishes the job.
After the glare is gone, the photo behaves like any other image on the canvas. About this tool
- Does it work with tinted lenses or sunglasses?
- Light and medium tints are fine: the tint is kept and the reflections on top of it are removed. Fully dark sunglasses are a different case, since there are no visible eyes to recover; the tool will reduce hotspots on the lens surface but cannot invent what is behind an opaque lens.
- How many people wearing glasses can it fix at once?
- Everyone in the frame. Each pair of glasses is treated separately, so a family picture with three glasses-wearers gets three fixes in one run. Small faces far from the camera give less detail to rebuild, so zoom in with Compare afterward and confirm the eyes match in color and direction.
- What should I upload for a rejected passport photo?
- Upload the same picture that was refused, at full size. Once the reflections are cleared, send the result into Passport Photo Maker, which handles the crop, the plain background and the framing rules for the country you choose. Running the glare fix first keeps the glasses on and the eyes visible.
- Is there a way to remove the glasses entirely instead?
