About this tool
- Why does the tool ask for a garment photo instead of a photo of a person?
- It is built for the merchandise, not the wearer. The garment is the reference the tool must reproduce exactly, so it wants a clear view of the fabric, print and construction. A photo of a person already wearing clothes belongs in Outfit Swap or Try It On, where the person is the constant.
- What should I upload for the most faithful fit and print?
- Even light, a front-facing view, the whole garment inside the frame and nothing folded over the print: that is the ideal upload, flat or hanging. Include a second run with the back if that view matters. Avoid heavy wrinkles that hide the pattern; the tool reproduces what it can see, so a smooth garment gives cleaner drape.
- How is this different from Try It On?
- Try It On takes two photos, a person and a garment, and dresses that specific person while keeping their pose and background. Garment on a Model needs only the garment; it invents or follows a described model and builds a full fashion scene around them. Pick this one for listings, the other for customers.
- Can I use a photo where the garment is already on a mannequin?
- Mannequin photos are welcome. They show the tool how the piece hangs on a torso, and the results often improve because the sleeves and hem already fall naturally. The mannequin is replaced by the model you describe. Dress forms with pins or clips are fine as long as they do not cover the fabric.
