Curiosity is reason enough: what might you look like at your kid's graduation, or at your parents' current age? See Yourself Older takes one portrait and moves it forward in time by an amount you choose, adding lines, gray or white hair and the changes in skin that come with years. Bone structure, eye color, expression, pose, clothing and background are carried through, so the picture reads as the same person on the same day, just later. People use it for birthday cards, a fun reveal with friends, a character reference for a story spanning decades, a film or theater aging study, or to picture a couple growing old together from a wedding frame.

Two selects shape the result. Years older sets the jump: +5 and +10 are gentle and mostly about fine lines and a little gray, +20 and +30 show clear silver hair and deeper lines, +40 and +50 render an elderly version. Aging style sets the character of those years. Realistic is the balanced default. Subtle holds back and keeps the changes light. Graceful leans toward soft skin and silver hair. Weathered adds a sun-and-wind texture. Distinguished gives a composed, silver-templed look, and Wisdom Lines puts the emphasis on expression lines around the eyes and mouth. Try +20 with Realistic first, then press Compare on the canvas to flip between the two frames before exploring further.

Your older self is now an image on the canvas with all the usual options. Edit with words to change the hair length or add glasses, upscale it for a print, or make a short video that shows the face turning toward the camera. Send it into Retro Era Portrait for a period twist, or back into See Yourself Younger to compare both directions. Each make costs 4 credits at Standard, 12 at Pro and 44 at Max. Signing up gives you 4 free credits, so a Standard result is yours to try first, card-free, before you decide whether a pack or a plan makes sense for more experiments.

About this tool

What happens if I pick +50 on a photo of someone already in their sixties?
Expect a very elderly version, well past a hundred, and the result can drift toward caricature because there is little real-world reference for that range. Smaller steps such as +10 or +20 with the Subtle or Graceful style tend to look more convincing on older portraits.
Can I use a photo where two people appear?
Both faces are aged by the same number of years and in the same style, which suits a couple's picture or a pair of siblings. Individual ages are not adjustable within one run. To age only one person, crop them out first or describe the change in Edit With Words.
Which option should I pick for a believable, not dramatic, result?
Pair a modest jump with a calm style: +10 or +20 years with Realistic or Subtle. Graceful keeps skin soft while turning the hair silver, another gentle route. Save Weathered and Wisdom Lines for character work where visible texture is the point. Run two versions and compare them side by side.
Why does my clothing and background stay the same?
Holding everything except the face and hair constant is what makes the comparison meaningful. You see the passage of time on the person, not a different picture. Should you want an older setting to match, send the result to Background Changer or Retro Era Portrait as a second step.
Can I try See Yourself Older before paying?
Yes. A new account starts with 4 free credits, which covers your first Standard image with See Yourself Older — no card required. After that, credits come from a monthly plan or a one-time pack.
